Corsica, nicknamed the Island of Beauty, is a unique wine region, where the Mediterranean influence combines with mountainous terroirs, offering wines with very distinct characters. This geological diversity, associated with rare indigenous grape varieties, gives Corsican wines a strong and unique identity. With around 8,000 hectares of vineyards, spread between the main appellations such as Patrimonio, Ajaccio, or even Vin de Corse (regional AOC), Corsica is full of treasures for lovers in search of discovery.
One of the most famous estates on the island is Clos Canarelli, located in the Figari region, in the south of the island. Yves Canarelli, pioneer of biodynamics in Corsica, works with indigenous grape varieties such as Sciaccarellu and Vermentino. His Clos Canarelli Blanc is a wine of remarkable purity, with aromas of citrus fruits and white flowers, offering superb minerality, a reflection of its granite terroir.
